Skoda UK tell me that the contact list is not held in the car memory, it is transferred in from the phone each time it is connected. The list of phones is deleted from the Bluetooth menu whish is accessed from the Media menu, then Bluetooth menu. Thanks for your help johnboy.
I have a 11 Lite 5G (first gen) and it connects to most Bluetooth devices automatically, just not with my car (Skoda Octavia mk4 2020 with Columbus). I always have to enable the Bluetooth manually. For wireless to work you need either a Samsung or Google phone running Android 10. Any phone running Android 11 should connect wirelessly. In addition to all of that, the phone you use has to be capable of connecting at 5Ghz WiFi. If your phone does not conform to those standards, it cannot connect wirelessly.
