Hi Steve and welcome to the Jeep family I have the 3.1tdi diesel which was 1999-2001 European export that the CRD Merc engines replaced. I don't know if the wiring between your WJ and mine would be any different in respect of the Camshaft sensor, but I have read that sometimes when one is replaced in my variant, and if it seems to be acting worse, then it might need it's housing checked for 1) Switch OFF the climate control and radio. (2) Close ALL doors. (3)Turn Ignition key to all dash lights ON position (not as far as start though) (4) Press and hold the accelerator to the floor for 20 seconds. (5)with Accelerator still to the floor, turn the key to the OFF position DONT REMOVE IT YET.

2.7 CRD ATF Fluid Confusion. I have replaced my 2004 2.7 WG Grand Cherokee CRD auto transmission and purchased the ATF from the dealers. Shell does not supply the 3403 oil in South Africa an the Chrysler code in my operators manual does not show on the dealers systems. The dealer then supplied me with Mopar ATF+4 (Type 9602).

I am now trying to find the electrical diagram for this 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD Diesel. Before I take this vehicle back to the dealer if they ever get the WIN module in. I want to be able to go through all the ignition wiring checking my grounds and voltages. My faith in the dealership has faded.
